The 31st edition of Luxe Pack Monaco will take place Monday, October 1st through Wednesday, October 3rd at the Grimaldi Forum in Monaco.
Luxe Pack Monaco is organized by IDICE, a part of Infopro Digital Group, and its team is ready to greet nearly 10,000 visitors at the show’s entrance on the glamorous French Riviera. There were 9,200 visitors in 2017, and more than half (52%) of attendees traveled from international locations.
This year’s event will focus on several themes including sustainable development, personalization, digital solutions and natural formulations. The conference program will feature various experts discussing the challenges luxury brands face today.
New Exhibitors
The show for packaging professionals will feature more than 470 exhibitors. This year, 47 companies signed on as first-time exhibitors.
New exhibitors include Cristalleries de St Louis, a company that has been manufacturing crystal bottles since 1829; Erpro, 3D-printing experts; Flock 1, known for its decorative custom-made flocking; Georgia Pacific, a leading manufacturer of fabrics, pulp, paper, and packaging; and ID Scent, which specializes in olfactory marketing, and produces samples, blotters and scented gifts.
Arkay Packaging, CTK Cosmetics, Diam Pack, Eastman, Fareva, Infinity Foils, Minelli Group, and Twelve NYC are also first-timers this year.
A Major Focus on Sustainable Development
This year’s conference program will feature a half-day on Tuesday, October 2nd filled with experts and executives speaking about sustainable development, and its challenges. The afternoon begins at 2pm with Laurent Boillot, CEO, Guerlain, who will speak about how the brand defines luxury. A few of Guerlain’s supplier partners will be a part of the conversation, including Thomas Riou, CEO, Verescence and Francois Luscan, CEO, Albéa Group.
Next, at 3:30pm, Cecile Lochard, luxury and sustainable development expert, and founder of Citizen Luxury, will moderate a roundtable discussion called “Traceability and Transparency, From Field to Boutique.” The speakers include Agathe Derain, CSR director for R&D, Chanel Parfums & Beauté.
The afternoon of October 2nd ends with the presentation of the Luxe Pack in Green Awards. The awards will be presented in the conference room in the Hall Atrium.

The conference line-up on Wednesday, October 3rd is all about fragrance, for the first-ever Fragrance Forum at Luxe Pack Monaco. Experts and executives in the fragrance industry will speak about various topics, including market research, perfume creation and package design.
Marc Rosen, of Marc Rosen Associates, will lead a roundtable discussion about fragrance design and development at 11:30am, with the following speakers: Fabrice Legros, founder, Studio Pi Design; Joan Camdera, MD, Aktiva; Alnoor, founder, Objets De Convoitise; and Franzrudolf Lehnert, president, Nice2.
