The 17th edition of Cosmoprof North America (CPNA) will take place from July 28-30, 2019, at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, and visitors will notice a few key changes this year. The massive B2B show will feature approximately 1,400 exhibitors from across the globe, meeting with over 40,000 visitors who are expected to walk through the doors.
The show represents all facets of the beauty industry, including retail, distribution, and brands. Organizers state, “CPNA offers a unique opportunity to come together, make new relationships, foster collaborations and get inspired.”
The Debut of Cosmopack North America
Cosmopack North America will debut this year as one of the show’s three main sections, along with Cosmetics & Personal Care and Professional Beauty. Cosmopack NA will feature companies representing ingredients & raw materials, contract & private label manufacturing, machinery and packaging.
The launch of Cosmopack includes the new Buyer Program—an initiative created to connect brands with buyers. Exhibitors, international buyers, retailers, and professional beauty distributors will participate in the program. Included are Alibaba, Blue Mercury, Cos Bar, CVS Health, Macy’s and Space NK.
The selected exhibitors will participate in pre-arranged one-on-one meetings with interested buyers during the show in a designated meeting area on the show floor.
Putting a spotlight on the supply chain, a new Factory project will showcase the entire manufacturing process of a unique cosmetic product, live on the show floor.
A New Awards Program
The Cosmoprof & Cosmopack North America Awards will launch this year. The awards program will recognize the best in beauty products, celebrate innovation, and honor excellence in packaging design and formulation among exhibitors.
Winners will be announced across 10 categories during a ceremony at the show.
