Natural cosmetics and personal care brand, Mineral Fusion, has announced its color cosmetics collection has been officially verified by the Environmental Working Group (EWG). The brand's packaging will now carry the "EWG Verified" mark.
"EWG Verified" serves as a mark of approval awarded to products that meet EWG's rigorous verification criteria which includes compliance with strict ingredient standards, good manufacturing practices and robust labeling.
Tim Schaeffer, Senior Vice President of Marketing at Mineral Fusion, comments, "We are completely committed to creating safe and effective products for all, so partnering with the Environmental Working Group was an obvious choice for us. With new personal care brands popping up every day, we want to assure our customers that they can trust us as a source for innovative beauty solutions without sacrificing formula integrity."
Mineral Fusion's color cosmetics collection is 100% vegetarian, with most products 100% vegan, and ranges from foundations to eyeshadows to blushes. Mineral Fusion products are also eco-friendly and free of gluten, parabens, SLS, phthalates, artificial colors and synthetic fragrances.
