Young Living Essential Oils has won a Silver Anvil Award for "The Lavender Room," a visual and sensorial experience created by Ketchum.
The Silver Anvil Awards are among the most prestigious in the public relations industry, recognizing the best of the best in brand communications and public relations. The awards ceremony, sponsored by the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), was held last week last week in New York.
"The Lavender Room" was an essential oil-infused pop-up shop set up along Fifth Avenue at Union Square in New York City in December, 2016. Created by Ketchum, Young Living's agency of record, it gave New Yorkers a place to "take a breather" during the holiday shopping season.
The experience "immersed busy New Yorkers in the relaxing bliss of our Lavender essential oil," states Young Living. It featured a quiet Zen-like room with a forest of more than 5,000 stems of fresh lavender.
Andrea Neipp, Senior Director of Global Brand Awareness at Young Living Essential Oils, comments, "The installation brought to life the power of pure essential oils through scent...it created a haven of calm amidst the holiday hustle and bustle to raise brand awareness..."
Jared Turner, Chief Operating Officer at Young Living Essential Oils, adds, "Young Living is honored to be recognized for extraordinary communications work among such highly regarded PR campaigns."
