John Varvatos has collaborated with musician/actor Nick Jonas to launch a mens fragrance - JV x NJ.
The new fragrance was unveiled during an event in New York City yesterday. Attendees experienced the scent firsthand and heard directly from John and Nick about their collaboration.
"Working with John has been such an incredible experience," said Jonas. "His knowledge and passion for fragrance were eye-opening and infectious. We wanted to create something that not only spoke to us but also represents guys today who can do it all."
The Scent
The JV x NJ fragrance "captures the upbeat energy of the city as dusk settles and nightlife comes alive," the press release states.
It opens with a clean, watery freshness. Rich and diffusive sandalwood notes bring contrast and anchor the fragrance with "transparent warmth and addiction for an edge that is luminous," the company says.
The Luxe Midnight Blue Bottle
John Varvatos' signature flask bottle is decorated painted with a beautiful, custom pearlized midnight-blue lacquer for the new JV x NJ scent.
It also features luxe details -- a gunmetal dog-tag and hex-nut cap engraved with JV x NJ, "to add a nod of rock-n' roll," the company states.
The fragrance is available at John Varvatos and exclusively at Nordstrom now. It will roll out to retailers nationwide in Fall 2018.
