KKW Beauty — Kim Kardashian West’s brand — recently launched the ‘Flashing Lights’ collection, to mark her 38th birthday. ’Flashing Lights’ was also the name of a Kanye West song in 2007.
The collection includes seven pressed powder pigments and seven loose powder pigments, “all in bright and jewel-toned shades for the ultimate party vibe,” Kardashian West posted on Instagram.
The packaging has the look of crystal-clear acrylic — and its minimalist design lets the makeup colors pop. The pressed powder packages are square, while the loose powder’s tall, square bottles have a round inner chamber to showcase the metallic pigments.
The cartons designed for the collection look as shiny as the metallic makeup. They look bright and reflective in photos, and seem to have a holographic effect.
