Macadamia Beauty, known for its hair care line that features hair repair products, has named Scott Hagstrom as Chief Operating Officer.
Hagstrom spent the last thirty-five years in a variety of leadership roles all within the personal care category. Most recently, he served as vice president of sales for the Professional Division of Helen of Troy, where he led the Hot Tools business through unprecedented growth.
Distributed in over 80 countries, Macadamia Beauty says it was one of the first professional-quality haircare brands to address four types of hair damage – chemical, environmental, thermal and mechanical, plus a range of hair textures. The products are formulated with a proprietary blend of Omega-7 and other fatty acids found in Macadamia Oil.
Hagstrom says, "I am looking forward to the future with Macadamia Beauty, especially since I am joining at their 10th Anniversary mark. For 2019, we are looking to push for strong drives for distribution in the U.S. market and at the same time create a heightened awareness of the brand and our award-winning formulas for damaged hair."
