With facial cleansing solutions on the rise, Drunk Elephant and Sephora have announced the launch of what they call “a new way to cleanse the skin.” Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser is described as “a cleansing balm that melts all traces of dirt, makeup and sunscreen from skin.” Even for use around the eye area, Slaai quickly transforms from oil to milk upon contact with water, and removes even water-resistant formulations. It is is free of PEGs and essential oils.
Slaai Makeup-Melting Butter Cleanser comes with a Bamboo Booster to provide a customized, skin-refining physical exfoliation to keep skin smooth and supple. The Bamboo Booster is meant to be used one to two times per week as needed.
Tiffany Masterson, founder of Drunk Elephant, said: “I really wanted something that fit in with my philosophy and that would melt off my eye makeup, so I developed Slaai.
