Unilever is considering a $1 billion bid to purhase Indie skincare brand Drunk Elephant, multiple sources report.
Earlier this year, Drunk Elephant's founder, Tiffany Masterson, hired investment bankers from Moelis and Financo, to explore a sales deal -- and, reportedly, she was speaking to execs at the Estee Lauder Companies.
The brand was extremely profitable in 2018, WWD reports, and made close to $100 million in net sales.
