Here's your weekly recap—the most viewed news stories on our site for the week ended July 24, 2021.
The biggest story last week was the news that Johnson and Johnson is in hot water… again. Multiple law firms have filed class actions against the company on behalf of purchasers of certain Aveeno and Neutrogena sunscreens that had dangerous and unacceptable levels of the known cancer-causing chemical, benzene.
In other news, P&G launched Quiet and Roar, a new “clean” gender-neutral brand targeted at Gen Z—and colorfully packed in what the brand calls “cosmic” packaging, which uses 100% post-consumer recycled materials.
Also, Singer Halsey's 'about-face' beauty brand partnered with Dickies to create two limited-edition unisex bags. Dickies' Mini Messenger and Compact Knapsack bags are crafted from durable, brown waterproof canvas. The bags are embellished with puffy, soft pink lettering featuring the about-face brand logo, namesake and mantra in 3D.
