Kiehl's Since 1851 is partnering with Canadian Award-Winning Olympic athlete Mark McMorris.
The brand's Ultra Face Cream limited edition packaging, which is being sold in Canada, features a label on its cap decorated with a snowy mountain and McMorris' name.
The partnership will benefit The McMorris foundation, which has a mission to create a more affordable, accessible, and inclusive sport culture in Canada for children.
Alexandre Ratté, General-Manager, Kiehl's Canada, says, "While maintaining Kiehl's longstanding mission of giving back to the community in support of children, we are honored to partner with the McMorris Foundation to help them raise awareness on such an important matter. Mark's career is the living proof on how sports can change a child's life. We are very pleased with this initiative."
Since the beginning, the McMorris Foundation has served one primary goal: to inspire youth to find their passion through sport. Removing barriers to entry is essential because we believe the biggest and best change comes from four things: passion, community, inspiration, and partnership.
To date, the McMorris Foundation has raised approximately $200,000 and created athletic opportunities for more than 2,000 Canadian youth.
McMorris comments, "Partnering with Kiehl's was a no-brainer. The McMorris Foundation was started with a focus on giving all kids the same opportunities my brother Craig and I had growing up. We want all kids to have a chance to learn the life lessons sport has to offer."
The limited edition will be available at Kiehl's stores nationwide in January, with 100% of net profits donated to the McMorris foundation.
Consumers will find the product in-store on January 10th, 2019, when Mark McMorris will host a meet and great at the Kiehl's Robson street store in Vancouver. Consumers are invited to come and get their limited edition product autographed and have their picture taken with Mark.
Kiehl's says its objective is to raise $20,000 for the McMorris foundation in Canada.
